Final Paper

ITEC 2024

Guidelines

Authors are requested to rigorously adhere to language, format, and electronic file requirements described on this page. Final Paper submissions are due no later than April 1st, 2024.

For any questions regarding submission, please email [email protected]
  • Language

English is the working language of the conference. If English is not your native language, please have your paper read by a native English speaker, or seek online services to improve the language of your paper. Please note that your paper is subject to further review and it may be rejected if it is deemed that English of your paper is not acceptable.

IEEE provides services to assist authors in editing paper submissions. Please go to: IEEE Author Services for more information.

  • Format and Final Paper Template

Papers are limited to six (6) pages and must conform to the IEEE two-column format for conference papers. Up to two (2) additional pages may be included, but authors will be required to pay additional charges. The fee for each additional page is $45. Submissions exceeding eight (8) pages will not be accepted.

Templates are available in Microsoft Word, PDF, and LaTex Format.

  • Electronic File Requirements

Final papers are to be submitted electronically, with file size limited to 5 MB. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings and included in the IEEE Xplore® online digital library.

IEEE is very strict with the requirements for converting application files or PostScript files to full-text PDF for inclusion in IEEE Xplore®. Failure to embed and subset fonts are the biggest obstacles to PDF compliance with IEEE Xplore®. Papers failing to meet IEEE Xplore® PDF requirements will not be included in IEEE Xplore®.

  • IEEE Copyright Form

All authors must submit a signed IEEE Copyright Form with their final submission. This can be done online through the submission website.

Failure to submit a signed IEEE Copyright Form will result in the paper not being published in IEEE Xplore.

  • IEEE Xplore

Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements. Papers may be deemed to not meet IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements if they are less than four pages long, do not include references to other technical publications, are in the wrong format (i.e. single column), include plagiarized material, or if they are not sufficiently improved compared to the digest.

  • Final Submission

For submitting the final version of your paper, please refer to the acceptance letter emailed to each corresponding author. It contains details specific to each paper submission. Please note that upon submission, no further changes can be made. Also, please note that if the paper is not submitted on time, it will not be included in the conference proceedings submitted or the IEEE Xplore database.
