The 2020 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference and Expo (ITEC’20), held online on June 26-29, 2020 was a great success. Thanks to ITEC’20 organizing committee’s dedication and countless hours of work as well as ITEC’s strategic and business plan and leadership of IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS), Industry Applications Society (IAS), and Power & Energy Society (PES), ITEC has quickly become the main global technical event for transportation electrification.
The conference featured world-class plenary speakers covering current status and future trends in transportation electrification. With over 60% attendance from the industry, the conference embraced a comprehensive program including; 8 keynote presentations, 4 educational short courses, 4 tutorials, Women in Engineering meet up and 2 industry special sessions offered by internationally renowned industry experts, which was exceptionally attractive to industry, government agencies, and general public, in addition to the academic researchers, students, and educators.
