Getting to the Conference Venue


Chicago’s two airports, O’Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW), are both conveniently accessible via CTA rapid transit. Taxis are relatively affordable, but travel time and price varies significantly with the time of day due to traffic congestion.

O’Hare International (ORD)


From O’Hare International (ORD), take the CTA Blue Line to Washington Station. Follow Washington St one block east, turn right and follow State St sout to reach the State & Madison Bus Stop. Take Bus 29 or Bus 124 to Navy Pier. Approximately 69 minutes travel time.

Taxi takes 30 minutes depending on traffic and costs approx. $45.

Midway International (MDW)


From Midway International (MDW), take the CTA Orange Line to Randolph/Wabash. Follow Randolph Street one block west to reach the State St/Randolph bus stop. Take Bus 29 to Navy Pier Approximately 68 minutes travel time.

 
Taxi takes 25 minutes depending on traffic and costs approx. $35. 

 

Driving Directions:

From The North:

Take Lake Shore Drive (US 41) to the Grand Avenue exit and follow signs to Navy Pier.

From West:
From the west, take the Eisenhower Express (I-290) to Columbus Drive, north to Illinois Street and proceed east to Navy Pier.

From Southwest:
Take the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) to Lake Shore Drive (US 41) north to Illinois Street exit and turn right (east) at Grand Avenue to Navy Pier Parking.

From South:

Take the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-90/94) east to the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) to Lake Shore Drive (US 41) north to Illinois Street exit and turn right (east) at Grand Avenue to Navy Pier Parking.

From Northwest:
Take the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) to the Ohio Street Exit, head east on Ohio to Wells, head south on Wells to Illinois Street, then proceed east to Navy Pier. A secondary route is to take the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) to the Ohio Street exit, head east on Ohio to Columbus/Fairbanks, then go south on Columbus/Fairbanks to Illinois, and proceed east on Illinois to Navy Pier.

From the Southeast:
Take Lake Shore Drive (US 41) north to Illinois Street exit.
